Creating a comprehensive set of branding guidelines is an important task for designers, as it helps ensure a consistent representation of a company’s brand across all forms of communication. These guidelines are a critical aspect of any business’ overall marketing strategy, and play a key role in establishing and maintaining the brand’s identity. As a designer throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to create many brands, and a set of guidelines that include logos, color schemes, typography, imagery, print materials, and overall visual style are always important assets for my clients.
